OK, so I'm pissed off that the White House has openly and without shame started their spin campaign to try to soften the blow to their political image that the Katrina Failure is dealing them. Meanwhile they're telling us and the media that now is not the time to start talking about the failure and who failed to do their job properly. Well, what gives them the right to spend money and resources on this while the disaster is still on-going? If it's not time to place blame or point fingers, then it's not time to put a fresh coat of whitewash on your image either. So... how many people do you think you can get to spread a message that "Not One Dime" should be spent on image. They need to take their lumps and not try to steer 'the message'. It's disrespectful of the American people and it's doubly so to the people who've died. And maybe if enough of us spread this around, we can cut through the chatter and get this message into the mainstream. I think it's worth a try. So I'm asking anyone who's willing to post about this and encourage their friends to do so as far and wide as we can. (Feel free to use the image below if you want to keep it simple, and anyone who wants to come up with a better graphic is welcome to give it a go). It's worth a shot and this is all I can think to do. Larger image:
