It was definitely an Australian day yesterday. Hot. Bush fires. Cicada as big as my thumb on the door. The bush fires were actually rather close. As dusk approached the sunlight got orange and you could see the huge smoke cloud to the north and south. It was at least as close as Heathcote. The winds today are surely not helping. 20 homes were lost last night. But, to quell any fears, we're in no immediate danger and they may have the majority under something resembling control today. *crossing fingers*

Hef came over yesterday. We went shopping as he wanted to pick up some DVDs/Games. I picked up a Mario Sunshine Gamecube set and Super Monkey Ball and a wireless controller (a planned purchase, I assure you heh). We came back and played a LOT of Super Monkey Ball. Hef mostly kicked my ass, but I started getting good at the Target game. Mario Sunshine looks to be the sort of game to eat up lots of my life. hehe

Casino this weekend, I think, with H3ff0r. My sweety is looking forward to the weekend. I'm looking forward to spending some time with her. :) She doesn't get home til around 6:30 and is usually ready to crash by 10 or so. Poor thing. :) But she's still getting back in work mode. Gonna go write her a mushy email now.
